Slow shutter photos

Put up some shots from this afternoon. I was trying to get that blurring effect while keeping the surfer sharp, but i was having trouble trying to lock onto the surfer. Probably be easier to focus on them with a longer lens, but im gonna keep trying like this for now. Heres the ones i liked.

I first heard about this on newyork surf about a week ago, the whole situation is very disturbing. Pass this on, even just informing people of this can help. Shacked from the newyork surf message boards got this on the nbc nightly news, so the word is spreading!

St Patrick's day shots

I didnt shoot for very long yesterday, so heres a few of them. The wind was a bit too west at this point, but there was still some out there. I think they are a bit over exposed, il remember that next time.

So i got out for a bit after work yesterday and had myself some fun. It wasnt bad at all,offshore, pretty much waist high with a few bigger every now and then. The crowd was pretty much non-existant too.Looks like saturday might be the day. Il be out, but i havent decided if il be surfing or shooting. decisions decisions.... Anyway, happy friday and fun ST. patrick's day
