Got out for a few hours this afternoon for some fun ones. It was pretty much just me and Al trading waves the whole time. I used my KG twin keel, that board is so much fun - it just glides like a dream. Hopefully more tomorrow. Peace -TJ

Caribbean trippin'

So it kinda sucks being thrown back into the north east winter after surfing in crystal blue 78 degree water under a tropical sun... Maby waves soon so il get over it. What a sick trip though. The first day we got there we got off the plane at like 4:45 am, and killed some time before an awesome sunrise session. Paddling out for the first time into what felt like bath water after freezing my ass off just a few hours earlier was surreal. Chest high + with no wind for a few hours, great way to start a trip if you ask me. Got to surf some sick spots and shoot Kiernan and James killing it. We saw some palm trees (i have a strange obsession with palm trees), sea turtles, stingrays and one weasel, also coined some new phrases and witnessed the invention of the chef boyardee burrito sandwich. I also learned to keep my beer covered at all times when around the aformentioned, otherwise it will end up on your face/up your nose. To sum it up: it was unreal, I seriously gotta find a way to move there. You can check out some shots here

Leaving for the tropics in a few hours, im so stoked! First surf trip out of the state let alone country.hopefully il have some sick shots. see you guys next week.
